Here's Why You Need A Sulfate Free Shampoo
There is no doubt that sulfate-free shampoo & clean haircare products have been all the rage recently. Actually, the past few years it has ended up being one of the biggest hair trends. And that is for a good reason. In a nut shell, there are so many benefits when making the switch to sulfate-free shampoo & clean haircare products, from your scalp health to split ends, sulfate can affect it all.
Our first response to the question "Why are my extensions looking all dull and ratty looking?!" is always always going to be "Well, what shampoo & conditioner are you washing with?". Today we are going over the top four reasons why you would want to use a sulfate-free shampoo, or "clean" haircare.
1. If you have colored hair
If you are someone who regularly gets your hair done or colored, using a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner is key. We all want our color to last as long as possible, that's the goal. But if you notice your color fading or looking dull, it could be because of the shampoo you are using. Color-treated hair requires extra TLC to keep it looking vibrant! Opt for a moisturizing sulfate-free shampoo + conditioner.
2. Keeps hair shiny
If you notice your hair looking dried out or frizzy, it may be time to make the switch to clean haircare... Shampoos with strong sulfates can end up being extremely drying on some hair types. Healthy, Shiny, Locks is the goal.
3. Sensitive skin & scalp
All of us with super sensitive skin, you need sulfate-free products. If you are noticing your skin or scalp becoming irritated after a wash, it could be because of the sulfates.
